30 Years of MODS' Wine, Spirits & Culinary Celebration in Fort Lauderdale
The Museum of Discovery and Science in Fort Lauderdale marks three decades of its signature culinary fundraiser this October with a "Pearl Anniversary Celebration," honoring founders Steve Halmos and Keith Koenig. Presented by Bank of America in partnership with Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits, the night raises funds for MODS' STEMobile outreach programs, which bring science education out into the community.
An Evening Built in Tiers
The celebration unfolds in stages through the night: a 5-6pm Honoree Pearl Reserve Cocktail Hour hosted by Halmos and Koenig themselves, a 6-7pm VIP early entrance with access to a dedicated VIP Lounge, and the 7-10pm Grand Tasting and Beer Garden that opens to general admission ticket holders. Running alongside the Grand Tasting from 8-11pm is "Brews & Bites," a food truck experience set up on Second Street outside the museum, with a 10-11pm after-party closing out the 30th-anniversary night.
